Samsung these days is busy giving Apple a run for its money these days, and it looks like it s going to win the race through the brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiled today at the Radio City Music Hall in new York. The new Samsung Galaxy S4 boasts of an impressive array of innovative features that will make Apple have an insecurity complex. This super smart phone combines innovation with bristling technology.

Samsung Galaxy S4 has a few surprises:

Prior to its launch, there was speculation that the Samsung Galaxy S4 might have a design change. However it looks exactly the same as the S3. It is however slimmer and more lightweight. The crowning glory of the super smart phone is its 5 inch large display that features Super AMOLED with 441 pixels per inch. This gives an amazingly crisp and clear display.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 camera is a knockout, a 13 megapixel camera with automatic focus, flash and many other features. You can add sound to your pictures, create a moving collage, and remove any unwanted items from your pictures by just a single tap. The camera provides amazing low light recognition. The front camera is 2 megapixels and works both as a web cam and for taking combination shots.

Battery timing and Smartpause pleasant surprise:

The battery timing of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is also a pleasant surprise, with a 2400 mhz battery that powers the powerful processor and easy lasts 26 hours if you do not use it too harshly. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a 2GB RAM that lends it speed and lighting fast response. It also features highly sensitive sensors for temperature, humidity, light and movement. It also features an eye tracking sensor.

Of all the features of the Samsung Galaxy S4, perhaps the most fun is the Smartpause, which utilizes the motion sensor to stop the video when you look away from it. This feature  works well even with many people around.

Samsung Galaxy S4’s few disappointments:

The big disappointment offered by the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the zero innovation in design, which makes it look exactly like the S3. The features sported by the Samsung Galaxy S4 need more work, as they appear to be gimmicky rather than actual features. The Air Wave feature of the Samsung Galaxy S4 works well initially but later on fails to perform well. The extra wide screen makes the hand tired, and reaching across the screen becomes annoying.
